Alpine Book Peddlers is a distributor and wholesaler of books, journals, maps, posters and cards. We buy books from publishers and sell them to stores throughout the Canadian Rockies and across Canada. We specialize in fast turnaround and personal service. Our objective is to fill and ship orders the same day as they are received or the next day. We also distribute books for small publishers in the Canmore-Canadian Rockies area. We stock over 1700 titles in our Canmore warehouse and we will special order books for retailers.

We are the Canadian Rockies distributor for Gem Trek Publishing. Gem Trek publishes a fine series of maps on the Canadian Rockies, including hiking maps with trail guides, explorer’s maps for travelling and a Canadian Rockies Touring map.

We are the distributor for Corax Press, which publishes books by Ben Gadd, including the “Handbook of the Canadian Rockies” and “Canadian Rockies Geology Road Tours”.

We distribute for local authors, Graeme Pole, Chic Scott, Mike Potter, John Marriott, and Cyndi Smith.

We have a wide variety of children’s books, including those by local authors, Lori Nunn, Carol McTavish, Linden Wentzloff, Dawna-Lea Ringer, Sarah Burke, Jocey Asnong, and Doug and Shannon Chapman.
